Invigilators demand pay

LAST year’s KCPE and KCSE examination in- vigilators have not received their payments from Knec. Coast Knut executive member Dan Aloo said yesterday teachers were to be paid immediately the results were announced but are yet to receive their dues.
He said Knec indicated teachers would be paid after re-registration on Knec’s website. However, logging in to the website takes too long and many rural teachers do not have access to the internet. He said they will plan a peaceful demonstration next week if Knec does not pay them their allowances.
